Our desire is to equip students to become disciples of Christ. We recognize that the teenage years are a unique time of life where students begin to discover for the first time who they are, and who Christ is uniquely called them to become. At PPC we seek to provide a safe, Christ-centered environment, community, and Gospel-centered teaching to serve students where they are. We believe that the church is most effective when it partners with parents and families to develop each student’s spiritual foundation.
Middle School and High School classes will meet separately in the bottom floor of Bigham Hall each Sunday morning.

MIDDLE SCHOOL 2019 SUMMER TRIP TO GREAT ESCAPE
Congratulations to the 2019 Confirmation Class who joined PPC on Easter Sunday. Eli, Nathan, Matthew, Will, Kathleen, Lulu and Abby.
In 2018 we had (3) total basketball teams with 27 total players. Two teams are Under-18 and 1 is Under-12. 12 members from our church participate on these teams. 12 of the players are Seniors in High School and will be joining our community as adults after graduation. We hope that their time at PPC will have a positive impact on their lives. They come from multiple high schools across the Charlotte region. We play in the Playbook for Life Ministries and play churches all over Charlotte. This organization goes out of their way to teach Christian values to players, coaches, and parents. Basketball is simply the catalyst to try to impact lives.
In addition, we hold open gym on Thursdays and it’s not unusual to have 30 kids/young adults there on any given night. Approximately 100 different young adults and teens participate in open gym any given year. Most of the participants are in their 20’s and have previously played for our church or have friends that have played for the church. Participants have included the most novice players as well as star players from the State Champion Independence Patriots. Other adults have wandered into the gym to play and have even asked to help mentor the kids. One thing we have learned over the last few years is that nothing brings people together like the sound of a bouncing ball and adults who will open a gym.
