What exactly is Children’s Church?
When you see the young children exit the sanctuary after the Children’s Sermon, they are taken back downstairs to praise God through singing, prayer, and activities. Children’s Church is for ages 3 through Kindergarten.
Children’s Church makes learning the Bible fun and exciting while at the same time equips the children with the necessary tools and prepares them to be active participants in PPC’s “grown-up” worship services.
Order of Worship may include: welcoming the children, singing, opening prayer, story time, activity or game, craft, and closing prayer. Time limits may not allow for all of the above, but there is always opening prayer, story, and activity/game/craft.

New mission opportunity at PPC: Box Tops for Education Clip Box Tops and place them in containers located on desk outside office or in the Kingdom Kids area. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents and will go for needs at Alexander Youth Network. Thanks in advance! Contact Jill Linscheid with questions (704-591-0304) or

Kingdom Kids Corner:
The Kingdom Kids are collecting “Pennies for Pete and Penelope”. We are trying to raise money to purchase a cow and a sheep from Heifer International that will benefit foreign countries in farming. This is a great mission that helps kids learn to give back. The congregation is
welcome to drop their pennies in the cow and sheep containers outside the church office or in the Kingdom Kids hallway! The Kingdom Kids and Weekday Preschool programs work hard to keep the hallways of the educational building updated and rotating with themes and artwork. Stroll through the hallways at your convenience and see what our kids are doing! Volunteers are always needed in all children’s programs so please share your time and talents with our youngest church members!
